Uniform sheet structure
A uniform internal structure is maintained across the entire sheet.
About us
Polyplast manufactures polycarbonate sheets for business customers who value precise parameters, a consistent process, and solutions adapted to real operating conditions.
About the company
We work with business clients who value not only the material itself, but also how precisely it is selected and manufactured to meet specific requirements.
Product quality is our top priority. The entire process – from assessing requirements to the final result – is just as important.
We organise production to maintain precision, a consistent process, and clear adherence to agreements. This ensures the finished product meets both technical parameters and the real demands of its application.
Every order is assessed individually, taking into account structural solutions, loads, and operating conditions.
Production
Polycarbonate sheets are formed in a continuous process in which the key parameters – temperature, pressure, thickness, and internal structure – are controlled.
Production follows a specification agreed in advance, so process control helps maintain a precise and consistent result throughout the batch.
The production process is adapted to specific requirements – from the sheet structure and layer configuration to the ordered dimensions.
Consistent parameter control helps ensure that the final result meets the specification agreed in advance.
Technology
Consistent process control makes it possible to manage the sheet’s key parameters – from structure and dimensions to integration of the UV-protection layer. This helps maintain consistent quality and stable results in every batch.
01
A uniform internal structure is maintained across the entire sheet.
02
Sheet thickness and dimensions are maintained in line with the agreed specification.
03
Controlled process parameters help maintain consistent results in every batch.
04
The UV-protection layer is integrated into the sheet during production; it is not applied as an additional coating afterwards.
05
An evenly distributed UV-protection layer provides uniform protection across the entire sheet.
06
Effective UV protection helps the material retain its properties for longer in outdoor conditions.

New jobs
One of the region's largest polycarbonate manufacturing projects is under way in Alytus: a new plant is being built with investment of around €20 million.
The plant is being built in Alytus Industrial Park on a site of almost 3 hectares. The full required infrastructure and a modern production base are being developed there.
The new facility will substantially expand production: the installed lines will make it possible to manufacture not only multiwall polycarbonate, but also solid and other types of polycarbonate. Total annual capacity will reach 12,000–14,000 tonnes.
Expansion means more than higher production volumes. It will enable a move from one direction to several product lines while retaining process control and precision.
A new team will also be built, with around 50 new jobs planned, mainly in technical areas that require highly qualified staff.
